In a celebration of the anniversary of women’s suffrage, this 6-part series adds to the diversity of our patchwork of cultures in Aotearoa through the lives of the Pasifika women who have given so much to this country, often at the huge sacrifice of those who came before them.

‘Daughters of the Migration’ is a telling illustration of the Pacific Island socio political circumstance in Aotearoa, what defines success to our communities, and the paths that were paved for them to get there.
