MUM'S VOICES - Episode 1

A story about a boy and his experience with his mother who lives with schizophrenia. It is inspired by my family's lived experience.

Director & Writer Aashchay Patel said his hope is that people will empathise with these characters and ultimately empathise with those in our community who experience similar things.

His sister - singer/songwriter Aaradhna - posted this on her social media - 

"Hey guys check out my brother's mini animation he created. Inspired by lived experiences. This one was made for our younger audience to show our youth what its like to live with someone that has to deal with schizophrenia. Mental health should be talked about more in schools to create a more understanding community. This is only a tiny pinch of what it's like, plenty more stories to be told. I hope you like it, share it & support it"
