Pese tamaiti A’oga Fa’a Samoa - The children of A'oga Fa'a Samoa in Grey Lynn sing songs for Samoan language education.

Through their research the A’oga Fa’a Samoa found that children in early childhood can extend their Samoa vocabulary through song. With sub titles families can join in and learn alongside their children.

Using this knowledge the A’oga Fa’a Samoa was contracted by the Ministry of Education to produce 20 songs that could be distributed widely to encourage Samoan language growth.

The A’oga Fa’a Samoa plans to continue to produce more pese in the future. Thank you to Joseph Taouma and his crew for the production.
