Bubbah is supporting the Pillars Charity “I chose Pillars NZ because they do mean as mahi with children of prisoners. A lot of their work is done with love and care in facilitating a space for families to grow and heal while their family members serve their prison sentence. It’s work I will always support!”
The Comedian told Coconet “I’ve said no to CTI before because I’m unfit, but this time I decided I can’t use that excuse anymore” she laughs “So yeah, random as, but I just did it this time!”

In a recent chat with Herald entertainment editor Jenni Mortimer, Sepuloni shared insights into her unique experience. She revealed that her boss, Chris Hipkins, was supportive and even amused by her participation. Sepuloni, who is on full pay during her TV stint, plans to donate her salary to the Tyla Trust, a youth organization focused on early intervention for vulnerable rangatahi. In addition to her salary, she hopes to raise more funds through the show's challenges, with the winner securing $100K for their chosen cause.
Carmel's role on the show includes being the 'camp mother,' a role she embraces with enthusiasm. Despite the political buzz and challenges, she views this opportunity as a chance to challenge herself and support a meaningful cause.
