Today we see the release of Luck/Time, Anna Coddington’s third album.

The album is the culmination of four years of diligent songwriting and was largely made at Anna’s own studio The Attic (literally her home’s attic).

Thematically the album speaks to many different aspects faced by everyone over the course of our lives – love, loss, hope, despair, and even having a bit of Luck over a lot of Time.

Showcasing all the strengths and experiences acquired over her career, Luck/Time features pop sounds with tinges of indie, disco, and yacht rock thrown in. Going against the current trend of beats-heavy production, Anna stands deliberately with her guitar in hand. With strings peppered throughout, the core of the album is all about feelings – Anna expressing her own, and the listener feeling theirs.

The album features previously released singles ‘Bird In Hand’ and ‘Make You Mine’, both of which were finalists for the APRA Silver Scroll Award. Also featured are new and forthcoming singles ‘Apples’ (vid featured above) and ‘Without A Fight’ (released on October 14).…more

Parris continues to inspire!

At the end of 2019 she has made the Queen's New Years 2020 list and will receive the New Zealand Order or Merit for services to dance, Justin Biebers Music video "SORRY" which Parris choreographed, directed, edited and dances in with her Request Dance Crew is the 6th most viewed video of the DECADE (now with over 3.2 billion views) & she just announced she'll be teaming up with JLO again to choreograph the half time show for the Super Bowl!  

For a decade now, Parris Goebel has continued to evolve and inspire.  We look back at some of the defining moments in her career.

In 2018 Parris Goebels dance crew The Royal Family celebrated their 10 year anniversary.  

Most recently she was awarded the 'Pacific Business Trust's Legacy Award' for creating a lasting legacy for our Pacific People.

ICYMI Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson launched his YouTube channel in July this year as a way to connect with fans who are hungry for more digital Rock. 

His web content includes Poke Rock, Rock the Promo as well as personal messages and video responses from The Rock.

His latest is a new feature they're going to do every once in a while called 'The Rock Reacts' which he launched yesterday - The Rock Reacts to His First WWE Match: 20 YEARS OF THE ROCK.

We caught up with Pita Taufatofua at the Pacific Fusion Fashion Show held in Auckland and asked him some quick questions. Hear what he had to say.

In 2002 Disney gave us 'Lilo & Stitch' a story about a little Hawaiian girl & an alien creature - they used a choir from Auckland for the music.  Pasifika Voices choir director and the Head of Performing Arts at the USP Oceania Centre in Suva, Igelese Ete told them it wasn't really Pacific.

Last year, at his own expense he travelled to Los Angeles to leave a personal message at Disney studios saying “that they cannot produce a movie about the Pacific and not include voices of the Pacific”

Disney to their credit took notice of Ete's message and their team flew to Fiji a few weeks ago to hear the Pasifika Voices choir hoping they'd find music that would capture the Pacifics heart, soul and musical essence.  They weren't expecting much as they hadn't had experience with talent in the Pacific but they were totally wowed after hearing the 20 young singers from Fiji and the Solomon Islands who make up Igelese's choir.…more

Meet emerging Fashion Artist Priscilla Ale of 'E'vana Couture' who lives in Sydney, Australia, is of Samoan Heritage and born in Auckland, New Zealand. 

She has had a dedicated spark for her Polynesian background, establishing a Polynesian Dance Company in 2011 teaching children the art of Hawaiian and Samoan Dance, designing and sewing the uniforms for her students.

As her creativity with handcrafted uniforms and accessorising progressed she recognised her Art in Pacific Fashion and decided to take a break with Polynesian Dance to explore her Creativity in Design and Fashion.  She studied at the Professional Fashion Design with Sydney's LaMode College. 

In FEB 2016 E'vana Couture featured in "Fashions Finest" Londons World Fashion Magazine and walked the Runway for the London Pacific Fashion Collective. Shes Been A Judge at Sydneys Biggest Multicultural School Festival, PacFest 2016 and was honoured to sit as a Special Judge for the Miss Samoa NSW 2016.…more
