We kick it with the talented Diggy Dupe and choicevaughan.

The musical genius behind The Panthers soundtrack. We chat to them about the passion they put in to the music and poetry that filled the series, and why they feel its important to tell these Polynesian stories.

The two musos with the help of Troy Kingi put together a heavy-hitting reflection upon the influence of the Polynesian Panthers on Aotearoa's political landscape and ongoing injustices in our Polynesian communities. 

The track 'My heart never sleeps' has been announced as a Top 20 finalist for the APRA Silver Scroll Awards 

For their work on ‘The Panthers’ miniseries, Diggy Dupé, choicevaughan and P.Smith are finalists for NZ On Air Best Pacific Music Video for the track ‘Ain't The Same ft. Melodownz & Summer Vaha'akolo’ directed by Tom Hern, as well as Best Producer and Recorded Music NZ Best Pacific Album for The Panthers OST. Diggy Dupé is also a finalist for NZ Music Commission Best Pacific Male Artist for his track ‘WEON’.

The Panthers OST is a significant standalone release which demands to be listened to in its own right — showcasing contributions from Che Fu, MELODOWNZ, SWIDT, Rizván, Deadforest and a host of more.
