Check out highlights from the week leading up to UFC293 in Sydney, Australia.
The event is headlined by Israel Adesanya who starts his second UFC Middleweight reign with a title defence against Sean Strickland.
For what is thought to be the first time in UFC history, there are 6 fighters on the same card fighting under the same gym - City Kickboxing NZ, led by head coach Eugene Bareman (Samoan/Dutch heritage).
There are also a record number of Polynesians on the card featuring Tai Tuivasa, Justin Tafa, Tyson Pedro, Carlos Ulberg and Shane Young with three Samoans included on the main card. (Tai, Justin & Tyson).

DAY ONE: WELCOME CEREMONY
Fight Week officially began with a traditional welcome to the host city Sydney on the lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation on the site known today as Barangaroo Reserve.

DAY TWO: MEDIA DAY x PUBLIC WORKOUTS
Media day with Australian and New Zealand media outlets at the Hilton Sydney.
Public workout at the Sydney Town Hall featuring Tyson Pedro, Justin Tafa, Tai Tuivasa and Israel Adesanya.

DAY THREE: PRE FIGHT PRESS CONFERENCE
Pre fight press conference with fighters on the main card which included Samoan fighters Tyson Pedro, Justin Tafa and Tai Tuivasa.
The presser was then followed by face offs between the fighters.

DAY FOUR: CEREMONIAL WEIGH-INS
Following the official weigh-ins at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, the fighters then came out to Qudos Arena for the ceremonial weigh-ins with the public.
The fighters squared off once again for the last time before they meet in the ocatgon.
