Rock Hall Inductees Pearl Jam performs "Better Man" & Eddie Veder thanks Hawaiian Keyboardist Boom Gaspar
When rock stars Pearl Jam were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, lead singer Eddie Veder paid tribute to the groups 1st and only keyboard/organ player - native Hawaiian, Kenneth "Boom" Gaspar.
Unfortunately Boom wasn't inducted with the group as he'd only been with Pearl Jam for 17 years and inductee criteria is minimum 25 years.
Check out Eddies tribute to Boom and the groups performance of "Better Man" here.
NB: When he's introduced, the crowd all chants "Booooooooooom" which is a Pearl Jam tradition, they're not booing him.

Boom is also a member of the Hawaiian all-star collective band 'Mana Maoli' - he gives a short interview with them below
