INSPIRING ISLANDER - NINA NAWALOWALO

Nina Nawalowalo is a proud Fijian Stage Director and was recently awarded the Senior Pacific Artist Award worth $20,000 at the Creative New Zealand Arts Pasifika Awards.

She is a theatre director with a reputation for making memorable pieces of theatre that reflect her Pacific culture and European theatre training – like the internationally acclaimed Vula and Masi, last year’s breakout success The White Guitar, and the more recent Marama.
