‘MUA’ a Rotuman short film

Based in Aotearoa, a young Rotuman living with his grandmother strays away from his culture and language and must work together with her to learn more about his identity before it’s too late.

Director Tristan Petueli says of the film - "I wanted to showcase the things I held dearest to me, which is my family and the Rotuman Language — and to convey the most important message of all, to not take either for granted".
