POLYFEST 2022: MANGERE COLLEGE SAMOAN GROUP - FULL PERFORMANCE

Mangere College's Samoan Group with their Full Performance competing on the Samoa Stage at ASB Polyfest 2022.

Mangere College came 3rd overall this year while their taupou Rain Te'i won the best taupou crown.

Polyfest 2022 took place at the same location in Manukau that it always does but thits year Covid-19 restrictions meant that the event took on a different look from its usual cheering crowds.

The schools performed live on stage but parents and supporters had to view the performances via livestream online.

With the Omicron outbreak reaching its peak as schools were rehearsing for the competition, many of the cultural groups had to pull out due to students being close contacts or catching Covid themselves.
