FREE - SEFA

We'd be the first to admit that life isn’t always going to go our way but like they say, at the end of every bad day comes a brighter one. That’s exactly what Sefa touches on in his brand new single Free - which comes out this Monday the 19th on BLK Entertainment.

Born and raised in the Island of Samoa, before moving to NZ in his teenage years, Joseph Mikaele aka Sefa was heavily embedded in the church and like many, honed his skills in the church before joining a group called 'The Talent' on X-Factor NZ.

Sefa had a hand in the group's success as well as touring the country before parting ways with the band.

A lover of urban music, the young singer/songwriter then embarked on a new journey pursuing a solo career and taking up a 40-week course studying Creative arts while also receiving mentoring in performance, songwriting and recording.

In 2018, Free will be one of the many releases to come from Sefa who is currently working  on his debut EP - with a voice versatile enough to mix it up in any genre, you can only see big things coming for this kid.
