Ngaiire - Closer

Born and mostly raised in Papua New Guinea, now based in Sydney, Ngaiire Joseph got her start in 2004 on Australian Idol, tearing through pitch-perfect renditions of modern R&B classics like India Arie’s Back to the Middle and Mary J Blige’s No More Drama.

Fast forward to 2021 and the singer / songwriter has 4 ARIA awards nominations for Best Artist, Michael Gudinski Breakthrough artist, Best Soul/ R&B release & Best Cover Art for her latest album 3.
