SAVAGE - REACH OUT (Love Don't Live Here Anymore) ft. Tone6
Official Video
The official video for Savage's latest single 'Reach Out' in honour of his niece Theresa Matautia who lost her battle with mental illness last year to suicide.
Savage said of the video:
"This song is a visual of what my life was growing up in South Auckland coming from a broken home raised by my sister because my parents were absent, my brother had left us to live & school in Wesley College. I had Just been kicked out of 2 high schools and had no one but my boys on the streets.
I was a troubled teen with no role models or influential people in my life so i rebelled and got arrested so much that my sister had finally had enough and kicked me out.
I was an angry young teenager who had lost my way and reached a very dark place in my life, after exhausting my chances of sleeping on friends couches, floors, cars etc I found myself having to take shelter under a bridge in the middle of winter.
One day by chance my brother managed to convince his principal to allow me to attend and board there full time at Wesley College and it is at this school where my life completely changed for the better and is where I found my love for Music!
I encourage you all to stay in the fight and don’t lose hope, if I can overcome these obstacles to then find my path in music just imagine what blessings await you. Lets keep this conversation going! Godbless!🙏🏽"
