How was the process of creating Pepa The Album?
Initially the process itself was quite daunting, I had only released singles and EPs, because I always looked at it as a big thing and that’s why it’s taken me 10 plus years, to finally make one, so I just told myself, I’d just create and see where it went from there. Eventually I had 13 songs that I was happy with and without overthinking it too much, sent it off for release.
What kind of music can we expect to hear?
I think musically you can definitely hear the growth between my first album and this one. More so in the lyrical content and song choices. I finally have a Tongan song and church song.
What inspired you during the making of this new album?
It was definitely the fact that I get to express myself in a different light. As a now husband and father.
How is it different for you creating music now, compared to when you first started out?
I think with my music now, I’m alot more conscious and aware of the power in my words and how it can impact not only myself but also those around me and those that listen to my music.
