Held at the Mangere Arts Centre on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th June 2023, this performance was part of an evening extravaganza, exhibiting a selection of refined works of music and sung poetry, by renowned Tongan artists, such as Queen Sālote Mafile'o Pilolevu Tupou III, Prince Fatafehi Tu'ipelehake, Malukava, Fineasi, and Peni Tutu'ila.
The concert took the beauty and utility of Tongan music in kava collectives to a whole new level - by moving from garages, community and church halls to the theatre space.
